The chicken is between the two Yeti Caves in Feralas in the Feral Scar area...

I have it in the bank, but I never did it... I guess we can run it for XP. It ends up being an escort quest...

it kinda sucks... the stupid chicken walks out towards the road and you get a few groups of 3 or 4 spawned aggs in on you... Woodpaws I think. Then you walk, and walk, and walk westward, over the bridge far far away, and then towards the Alliance dock area (where they pick up the boa to their town.)

Without a group though, it's very possible you'll get ganked and have to cancel and repeat the stupid quest again.

I hate escort quests.. bo-ring!

That and you have to stay pretty close to the damn thing. If its green or below, probably not worth it.

If we're up in that area, we can run you through that Barks...

It takes a long time because it's an escort quest, but since you're lvl 44 or something, you'd max out on the available turn-in XP.

Its not that bad. The kicker is to take along people who don't need it. That way they can run ahead or lag behind without causing a problem.

You can get XP for finding the damned thing.... That might be worth it.... Maybe I'll go find the thing, and leave it at that, then I can get rid of the beacon... open up a slot.

We ran the thing with a large group of us low 50 people... but only Crew or Defren had the beacon on him. Hardest part of the quest for whoever was remembering that he couldn't go help gank the Alliance that panicked and ran away when they came across a group of lvl 53-ish Horde walking down the road following a stupid mechanical Chicken.
