i liked it. i only disliked two parts, 1) they attacked the christian faith way to much. 2) the knife trails were stoopid!

There were many contrasts to this government, and the political mindset that took place 100's of years back with the Crusades. The Templar were known for being what would now days be called 'conservative' views...or better 'lack of tolerance'.

The movie was somewhat entertaining. More of 1984 rip-off than anything.

yea, your right xalyc. personally, i doubt if the templars back in the day were really christians. I think that they just toted around with the cross "in the name of Christ" so they could murder and make it seem ok. which is really totally contradictory to being a christian in the first place. And that wrong use of the name of Jesus was just what the brits in the movie were doing. Taking something like the cross, a symbol with a nice meaning, and twisting it. showing amadala their badge with the cross (a twisted double cross, but a cross none the less), then trying to get at her. twisting something originally good to look evil, and make the symbol even become a symbol of evil.

just like when Hitler took the jewish sign of peace, and mirror flipped it and turned it to a swatchistca. now you all know what swatchistcas stand for, and now even today when you see the real jewsish sign of peace (a backwards swatchista), you dont think the peace that is intended with the real symbol, you see the meaning of the swatchishca. I cant even tell the difference any more between the two. you see what im getting at? (not all my facts may be right, thats just what i know to be true as of now)
