OMG! I'm going to have to quit my job :D if I'm ever gonna see the higher ranks of PvP'dom. The servers came up early from maintenance today, and low-and-behold. I'm still a Senior Sergeant. I bypassed my lifetime numbers by a lot.

165hk/12,154cp/388 standing.

I'm torn. The battlegrounds certainly make questing by lowbies in zones like STV and TM possible again, but attaining the higher PvP ranks looks like an assured impossibility.

Give it up, those with jobs and lives will never be able to compete with the power gaming types. Our only hope is they burnout and fade away. 8)

As long as they don't make me lose my Insignia of the Horde in their quest to be sooper 1337!

People come and go every day. It seems as though the power gamer types are the first to lose interest when something else comes along. There have been quite a few level 60's picking up and leaving as of late. I think that with patience and perseverance, the casual gamers will still have a chance in the long run.

I would just like to be a Grunt. I hate eating grass and going "Baaahhh" :(

I'm in the same boat as kavista - 16k CP, 262 standing. Same rank (senior sarge)

Way more than I've had before.

It reminds me of becoming a Jedi in SWG. The path to become one in any reasonable period of time burns you out so bad that once you finally get there, the game is nothing but a hollow burnt out shell of its former appeal.

Some of the hard core gamers who're farming CPs and HKs use the rank as a measurement of their e-Penis.

Although, a big e-Penis would be nice, it's not high on my priority list right now. MAybe when I get to 60.. I'll want the Templar PvP armor sets or something... but I'm guessing that's a far way off....

An Epic mount would be nice... If I could only find a way to make money...

I know some people that take making money to the level of an art form, but it does become easier after you hit 60, as you're no longer shelling out 30g or so every 2 levels for training.
