Hey, are the mounts BoE or BoP?

I was wondering if someone could purchase a mount from the stable and then shove it on the AH...

I see that everyone can ride any mount, but not everyone can buy it unless their reputation is exhalted....

I think an undead on a wolf would be teh seckseh!

Mounts are BoE. But you can't ride the mount without the riding lessons, bought seperately. There is no requirement for buying the riding lessons for your race's mount, but if you want to learn how to ride a mount other than your race's mount, you need Exhalted faction with that race's horde faction in order to buy the riding skill.

So, for your situation, sure you could get your hands on an orc's dire wolf mount rather easily, but you wouldn't be able to ride it until you buy the dire wolf riding skill, which requires Exhalted with Orgrimmar.

In fact you probably could get your hands on, for example, the dwarves' ram mount, but you can never learn that riding skill as the trainer is hostile to you.

... I wonder if you can talk to trainers under the influence of mind control. I don't think you can, but if you could, you'd faction alliance to them and therefore you theoretically could talk with them...

Seems like I read in a patch some where that factions were not effected by Mind Control. Some people were using it to get peoples faction dinged by having them attack their own guards, etc and thus it was removed.

I believe they fixed it such that any actions that impact reputation affect the priest's reputation, not the MC'd victim, but I know you still faction the other way when you are MC'd.

It's even possible to for a horde to kill another horde if you have an alliance priest conspirator. Find some horde you don't like, have an alliance priest MC him, then you can kill him.
