View Full Version : Lady in the Water
Saw this yesterday. Crapola of the highest magnitude! I totally understand why Disney told him to fuck himself on this movie. He clearly has to high an opinion of himself and his ability to please an audience.
I'm now officially over Mr. Shamlayadingdong.

When I saw The Village I dubbed it the worst movie I had seen in years. It will quite a feat to surpass that suckfest.
I actually was rooting for the guy too. It's a shame.

I did see the Village and it was god awfull. This is more of the same awfullness.
Combine that with him actually playing a large role in this film just confirms the fact that he is way to full of himself. Do not waste any money on this film, not even on the rental.

I haven't even seen The Village yet...
and I LIKE M. Night Shamalamalamalamamanmen
I was almost gonna buy the children's book "The Lady in the Water" that he has out... but it was too expensive... I think... $12?

The story is ridiculously stupid, don't buy anything of his. If I was told I needed to come up with a childrens story and I had 10 mins. to do it, I could come up with something better than the crap in this movie.

I always harbor a more-than-normal amount of suspicion for those people who use their first initial as though it were their name. M. Night Shamalamadingdong indeed...
...and the rest of them: D Barks, T C, B rocken et al...all posers, I say.
And I saw the Village. It was ass-tacularly ass-tastic. I watched it once and then immediately began to wish that M. Night Shambleamblestroller would become OJ's ex-girlfriend's new boyfriend. Everything I needed to know about Some Scary Chick in a Pool I found here (http://www.wwtdd.com/index.php?type=one&i=1165).
If you notice, after his one good movie (Sixth Sense), he has some decent ones (Unbreakable, Signs), and now crap (The Village, Lady in the Water). Seems to me like he's getting worse and worse.
