Monday 8ish ... on my way home, area 108 (local station) giving away pairs of tickets all week long til friday.... FOR TOOL.
I call and make it through... the GAME! nominate a person in show biz who is a total tool... my nomination went to Paris Hilton.
I win.
Tuesday morning between 8 and 9 i tell my roommate "get a sitter we're going to TOOL!"
HE CALLS EVERY ONE HE KNOWS.
no one can do it and he tells me thursday night he can't come.
SO I HAVE NO ONE TO GO WITH AT THE LAST MIN!
i jump on the horn and call everyone i know it's either i'm working i'm already going out or i'm outta state AHHHHHHH!
I EVEN CALL THE PPL I"M NOT REALLY TALKING TO !
friday afternoon 5ish... pick up tickets, jump in line and start talking to ppl. move in to the areana about six o'clock and wait ... geta drink ... and wait .. get another drink .... AND WAIT!
FINALLY the opener goes on ... ISIS.. Teh SUX! long deep SLOW melotic music... did i mention GAY??? or that they SUCK! yea well
they get off stage and tool prep is under way, so i gets another drink. i even think i got a drink for a really cute girl but i think she might be shy of the legal limit ... oh well gots a kiss and i forget about the whole thing..... waiting ....
