Custom Chat Channels

I know I use custom chat channels from time to time. And from the 1.6 patch on they have gone bye-bye from time to time. Well the Blues at Blizzard have answered your questions. See Bleow:

Yes the way chat channels are done has changed. I don't know if it is permanent or not. However to fix it you will have to edit a text file. In the character folder within the WTF folder and account folder you will see a file called chat-cache.txt.

The beginning of the file will look like this.
VERSION 1

CHANNELS
END

ZONECHANNELS 10485763

COLORS
SAY 255 255 255
PARTY
<rest of file>

Change the file to look like this..

VERSION 1

CHANNELS
myfirstchannel
mysecondchannel
mythirdchannel
END

ZONECHANNELS 10485763

COLORS
SAY 255 255 255
PARTY
<rest of file>

Then save it and set to read only.
