Great movie. What I enjoyed most was the complete immersion in a world so different than ours. Mel had huge attention to detail, you really felt like you were in the middle of some ancient civilizations melt down. WAY fucking better than The Passion, good job Gibson.

I thought it was very believable, other than disease, how else could the Spanish have plundered their society so easily when outnumbered 1000 to 1? I'm gonna do some reading on it.....
