AV was awesome last night

3 of us from DN joined a new AV session with a raid leader named silenthealer. Not only did we win but we won in less than 2 hours. I've never seen such a strong horde raid in there. We obliterated the Alliance from the get go.

Needless to say, I'm going to stay in touch with this guy for future AV runs. Don't know if we just got lucky with who comprised the raid (i.e. a few strong guilds), but I saw lots of different guild tags and all of us seemed to being moving as one and playing our roles correctly.

Most fun I've ever had in there and we all got 400+ HKs and tons of AV faction.

Jeeze, that sounds like a blast. If you should see that guy again, give me a shout. I've been focusing on my set pieces and purchasing an epic mount for myself... but 400HKs on a priest?

I don't know how they figure it, but if I'm healing a mage who is doing aoe, I'll get credit for his kills. The honor points are divided (not evenly), as they should be since the mage is alive because of the priest.

...and yes, AV is mage heaven. We went with a DN Mage and Warlock, so I just stayed back, shield and healed the whole way. Lots of druids and shamans were in the back healing as well....I was so pleased with how everyone was performing in the raid. We mowed down the Alliance like they were pre-schoolers.
