Greetings,

Thank you for contacting the World of Warcraft Game Master Department.

Petition: Running Scholomance we killed dark master gandling. At 2% he teleported me (the master looter) across the map. When I cleared the room and came out the rest of hte party had killed Gandling but there was no loot to be found on him. Changing loot rules and master looter didn't affect the result. We petition to find out what the loots was and have it distributed to the appropriate party.

Answer: Please note that this is working as intended and is part of the challenge of the encounter. If a person is not fighting the creature once it dies they will not be eligible for loot. I am sorry for any inconvenience.

I KNOW that Gandling was gonna drop the Magister's headpiece... he was holding out on me.... :)

But, at least Crew was able to get the Devout Crown off him on tonight's run.... and I can't believe I passed up on a real purdy wand! Not that useful to me... but purdy.

Resubmit the request. You need to explain that NO ONE got loot, not just you. He seems to think you are complaining because only you got screwed.

You might be better served if you forward it to WoWGMFeedback-US@Blizzard.com and work with them on it.

We generally use ML, just for the sake of order and simplicity. No one has to deal with remembering if they should roll or not, or have the little pop-up windows come up.

Note to self though - put it on FFA before fighting gandling...

Yup...that's what we ended up doing last night. Good thing too since TC got sent to his room again.
