Ok folks there is a new Insomniax Mod (http://www.insomniax.net/forums/showthread.php?threadid=12111) and is is a bit of a pain. I loaded it yesterday and spent an hour getting pissed off then going back to my old mods. But I found the manuals for the Discord mods (http://www.discordmods.com/) and I think I like what I see. I am going to try agian this weekend, when I have the time. Just an FYI

I dumped IX like a ... well ... you finish the analogy...
Its gotten super bloated and buggy the last couple of releases, and the guy who supports it really doesn't have the time/will to update it all the time anymore.
I setup my own mods now. Flexbar + kc_items + ct_mod is all I need...
I use it, and yes it can be a pain after every patch, but anyone using a ton of UIs is troubled after patches. I had to spend some time with the latest version but it seems to work fine now. Had disable some of the mods because I was getting a message saying the UI was taking up to much memory and it exiting the game for me.

You can fix that by, in your addons menu (before logging in) changing the "script memory" to something like 64 or 96 (it defaults at 48 I think)
i dumped IX as well. i am now using a blend of Perl mod, CT mods, Telos, then a few odds & ends from there like titan bar.

I did fix that memory problem by disabling some stuff and upping the script memory to 64.
I've been using Insomniax since I was playing on Archimonde, very cool UI, but this new one is killing me. I have huge lag problems in raid instances and the BGs.
Is anyone else using this and getting the same problem?
If so, is it fixable?

Sully had the lag problem. Not sure what he ended up with - you might see what he has to say...
It was benecast. Disabled it and now its fine.

I have a lowbie priest (34) and I use benecast, but without IX. It seems to work fine.
I'm guessing there's something in their interaction that messed it all up.
SULTARO, are you still using benecast with your new setup?

I've never had problems with CastParty.

nevermind - actually got into an instance with a group (of 60s :D ) with my priest, and started seeing the lag problem. It was intermittant, but noticable, especially in bigger fights.
I'm a gonna try out castparty...looks cool. :)

I am going to try castparty out....the lag just seems to be very bad in ZG mostly. :(
